Island Recreational operates an internal, employee-only administrative application (the "Island Recreational Command Center") that connects to Google services using Google OAuth. This section explains how that application accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data.
With the explicit consent of an authorized Island Recreational employee, the application may access: Google Ads advertising and reporting data for advertising accounts owned by Island Recreational; Google Merchant Center product listing data for our own product catalog; the basic profile information (name and email address) of the signing-in employee, used only to identify them; and, where an employee grants it, the ability to send email from a company Google Workspace mailbox for customer service notifications.
Google user data is used solely to operate our own business: to display advertising performance in internal dashboards, to manage our own advertising campaigns and budgets, to keep our own product listings accurate, and to send service communications to our own customers. We do not use Google user data for advertising to consumers, for building profiles, or for any purpose unrelated to the internal function the employee authorized.
Data retrieved from Google is stored in our private, access-controlled database and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). OAuth credentials and access tokens are held as server-side secrets and are never exposed in a web browser or to any end customer. Access within the application is restricted by role-based permissions to authorized Island Recreational staff.
We do not sell, rent or trade Google user data. We do not transfer it to any third party except where required by law. Google user data is not used to train, improve or develop generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Google user data is retained only for as long as it is needed for internal reporting and account management. An employee may revoke the application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which we stop retrieving new data. To request deletion of data already retrieved, contact us at the address below and we will delete it from our systems.
Island Recreational's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
